Mr. Md. Kamal Uddin has a peerless business background and is a renowned entrepreneur in RMG sector. He is the Managing Director of Diganta Sweaters Ltd., Cosmos Sweaters Ltd., Sweaters Zone Ltd., and Diganta Packaging & Accessories Ltd. He has generated employment for about 25,000 people and has contributed to the national economy with yearly turnover of about US$ 100.00 million from export. For his contribution he was awarded CIP for consecutive 4 terms by the Government of Bangladesh. He has received the “Golden Suppliers” award by H&M six times since 2011 for proper and specialized export. He has also served as the Director of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGMEA) for 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 term. He was one of the Sponsor Directors and functioned as the Vice Chairman of Meghna Bank. He is also a Director of Meridian Finance & Investment Ltd representing Diganta Sweaters Limited. Besides, he is associated with many social welfare works and involved with different organizations. He provides financial support for more than 11,000 underprivileged and disaster affected people and makes donations to a number of hospitals and orphanages. He is the Chairperson of Executive Committee of Eklashpur High School, Chandpur for the past 12 years, Lifetime Member of Kazim Uddin Chowdhury High School & College, Member of Gulshan Club Ltd. and Baridhara Composition Club Ltd.
